Born into a family of eleven children, Janine Boudreau resides in the town of Beresford in North Eastern New Brunswick. She is a self-taught, multi-disciplined artist and a pioneer in the materials and techniques she uses to paint. An artist for the last 37 years, Janine has been teaching painting classes for adults for the last 26 years and recently began classes for children and youth. She expresses the state of her soul by making colours dance on the canvass of her fascinating virtual works. Janine paints as well with her fingers as with brushes or spatulas, makes use of oils or acrylics, based on the subject of her work. Her paintings have evolved through a variety of different artistic currents; naïve, expressionist, abstract, still life, realism, narrative. Even as she worked in other jobs not related to painting, Janine always tries to find time to paint and to teach art.
