Born in Kolut, on the plains along the blue Danube, the artist was baptized Josef, in honor of the Emperor. In his works, we find an artist who reveres the old school and who revels in humanity. He explores with modern techniques and materials. His art odyssey reflects his life and travels through Hungary, France, Cuba, Canada and the United States. Kings, monkeys, religious figures, leaders of industry and society, the common man and nature in its most delicate perspective, are all revealed with great strength.
